Portland Area Villages, Inc., is an IRS Sec. 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization so any donations made, up to the amount allowed by law, are tax deductible. We are also a designated Nonprofit Corporation with the State of Maine.
Although we are an all-volunteer organization, we still have administrative costs such as printing, marketing, government fees, volunteer appreciation, background checks for our volunteers, scholarships for members with limited income, office supplies, and postage. Any donations will be used to help defray those costs.
